Are these tiles that snap together?
No, this is a one piece roll of vinyl. It comes in certain widths and lengths, again it comes to you in a roll, all you have to do is roll it out and you are done.
Are these easy to install?
Yes, very easy. As mentioned above it will come to you in a roll, all you have to do is unroll and you are done. Please give it time to lay completely flat, it has been rolled up and will need some time to lay out flat again. The time frame will all depend on the temperature (cold will take longer).
When installing, do I have to fit exactly to the walls?
No, you can just unroll it and cover a specific area. Although you can go as far as taking the baseboard trim off and fit or cut the mat to fit, and then re-attach the baseboard trim over the mat.
Do you have to use adhesives?
No, in fact they recommend that you “loose lay” the mat.

How do two mats meet up or connect?
Most people just overlap the two ends that meet. You can go a step further and overlap the mats then using a straight edge cut a straight line down through both mats, pull out the cut pieces and lay the mat back down for a perfect butt joint (a joint where the two sides meet up exactly). Some people have used two sided tape also.
How do I prepare the floor before installation?
Make sure you sweep the floor clean, you do not want any stones, nails, etc. under the matting. Most minor cracks and or damage is ok and the matting can roll out right over them. Some repairs would have to be made if the damage creates holes, crevasses, or uneven surfaces like one side of a crack higher than the other side. It can be a personal description and desired look you want.
When installing how close do you cut to the wall?
You should leave about a half inch between the wall and the mat, this will allow for any expansion and or contraction that the building (walls) will have over different seasons and time..
